Spring Forward

Spring has sprung in Mexico City and we have been using our weekends to take advantage of it; going to the park, Spring festivals, the zoo and more. I love this warmer weather and the beauty that can be found inside this city.

    1. It's seriously one of my favorite places to go in the city; it's a great escape and our daughter loves it! I just checked out your blog. It's so fun to find someone else who lives here in the city, kind of experiencing the same thing we are. Where do you live in the city? We live pretty far south, near Xochimilco.

    2. We live pretty far north actually, between Gustavo A Madero and Tlalnepantla(which is Edo de Mex). I like it here, but have been wanting to get down south and see Xochimilco.

Another expat invited me down to go to some mercado for plants for my garden, Im not sure what its called. Just trying to get a little more comfortable driving a big vehicle in this crazy city, then we will be headed down.

We should make a play date for the girls at the Xochimilco Eco Park, if you want! My girlies are 1 and 2.5 . They would love to play with another little one, and I'd LOVE to speak some English for once ;)

    3. Any time you'd like to make your way down south, I'd love to have a play date! Right now we normally go to the Eco Park on the weekends since my husband and I both work, but the summer is going to be here soon and we will most likely be spending a lot of our time there.

Will you and your family be around in the summer as well? It would be great to get together. And I completely understand wanting to speak English:)

    4. Yes, we moved to Mexico City indefinately in January,so we should be around this summer for sure! My husband works pretty much every day, but since he works with his dad would be able to take a day off to have a family fun day.

My husband has a cell and Im waiting to get mine until Im comfortable driving around solita. Now I go to mercados and other close places alone with the girls, but we have so many inlaws that Im rarely alone. Ill send you the number when I get one, and we can figure out a time to go to the Eco Park.

My 2.5 year old LOVES other kids, so this would make her day!
